Tasca is José Avillez's first restaurant outside Portugal. It sits on the sixth floor of Mandarin Oriental Jumeira and holds one Michelin star. The cooking is contemporary Portuguese: fresh fish and seafood, rice dishes and Josper-grilled meats, made for sharing.
Lunch runs Sunday to Friday from 12:30pm to 3pm. On Saturdays a set brunch takes its place, so Friday is the day for a long one.
